Spring seems to have gone in the blink of an eye!

We have seen the community come together to celebrate birthdays, make the most of the longer sunny days and enjoy Melbourne Cup festivities together.

What has been particularly touching this month was seeing the way we came together on Remembrance Day to commemorate our fallen heroes.

We are proud to have a new flagpole standing tall in our community, especially on days like this when residents gathered round for a minute silence to pay their respects at 11am. It was a moving morning, knowing we were carrying on a tradition that has been going strong for over 100 years.

We feel fortunate to have a number of past servicemen within our community, and it is always special to be reminded of their heroic acts when they don their uniforms for such occasions.
